ahh, terraria... nearly 1500 hours of the very same gameplay loop since i was 5 years old... and yet, every now and then,
i keep coming back for more.

why? i'm not exactly sure myself.

despite all the annoyances that only become more gruelling with each playthrough, like evil biome spread, insane crafting requirements for some items like the shellphone, certain npcs selling important stuff on very rare occasions, etc; at its core, terraria is a fantastic game that i love and will continue to love for as long as i live, as in spite of all of these pesky troublings lurking within, there is something deeply fun and addictive about it, which makes it hard for me to put it down every time that i DO pick it up.
